July 9, 2021 – NJSDBDC at Rutgers-Newark Announces New Advisory Board Member
The NJSBDC at Rutgers-Newark is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Advisory Board member Jewell Singletary of Gratitude Griot.
We are extremely excited to have Ms. Singletary join as an Ambassador Advisory Board Member. Previously an NJSBDC client, Ms. Singletary sought out the assistance of our organization to help grow her business. With the help of the NJSBDC, she was able to certify her business as a Minority Business Enterprise and has participated in numerous workshops and training events. Using the resources of our Center, she has been able to grow her business and provide valuable feedback to help us improve our offerings and programs for other small businesses and entrepreneurs. We welcome Ms. Singletary and look forward to her continued input and support as a member of our board.
Gratitude Griot is a well-being-based business that teaches mindfulness tools focused on self-regulation, increasing mobility, and alleviating chronic stress and pain using somatic movement, yoga, and therapeutic arts. The company services individuals and corporate clients through an empowerment model that inspires people to move their bodies in a creative way including stimulating the mind-body connection.
