The overview will include how the procurement process works including commonly utilized FAR clauses, how to conduct thorough market research to find opportunities, SBA small business certification programs available as well as how to effectively leverage certifications to win both public and private contracts.

Monica Randall has over 31 years of experience assisting small businesses of various sizes and industries. Over the course of her 23-year career with SBA, she held many positions including SBA Servicing Loan Officer, Marketing Specialist as well as Business Opportunity Specialist (BOS) within SBA’s 8(a) program. In addition to her extensive experience and expertise, she was a former Adjunct Professor with a Community College where she taught courses in Advertising & Sales Promotion, Marketing, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Management Principles as well as Social Media classes. Her belief in the small business community has lead Monica to devote her entire career to assisting small businesses with their growth and expansion into the state and federal procurement marketplace.
