This all-day training course will provide growth-focused small businesses with an in-depth understanding of navigating federal contracting, procurement and strategic marketing to the right federal agencies that buy their goods and services. The course includes overview of FedBizOpps, Acquisition Central, Federal Supply Classification Codes, NAICS, Public Services codes, Knowledge of Federal Contracting Procedures and Regulations and targeting the right contracting agency personnel. This course also covers contracts awarded through SBA certification programs and how to effectively leverage your certifications.
This workshop helps existing small businesses who currently do business with the federal government as well as those working in the commercial sector but want to branch into the federal procurement market, have a better understanding of growing their contracting opportunities. This is an interactive workshop. Familiarity with the Federal Systems of Awards Management (SAM) will be a plus.

Ms. Randall has over 27 years of experience working for the U.S. Small Business Administration. Over the course of her career, she worked in SBA’s legal department and processed SBA guaranteed loans as a Loan Specialist, worked as a Marketing Specialist as well as a Business Consultant in SBA’s 8(a) program servicing over 100 clients at a time. In addition to her extensive career with the government, she also worked as a Marketing Specialist for CIT, Small Business Lending in New Jersey. Ms. Randall has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Anne Arundel Community College.
